Signorini ( 1857-1932)
This is
a fine watercolour on board. Signed Giuseppe Signorini
and inscribed ROMA. The painting has fresh colour and
is incredibly detailed, right down to the wood grain
in the barrel behind the lady.
The figures of the men are obviously in costume and
being refreshed by the lady, as she refills her jug.
The sight
size of the painting is 26" by 20".
The frame
is a handmade and hand finished swept frame with light
gilding.
