French rococo style mantel. This is a Rococo style ormolu clock. It has a very good quality cast case with fretwork to the sides and has deep red velvet behind. The case is of traditional rococo style and is circa 1860-70. The dial is white enamel with blue Roman numerals and outside Arabic numbering. The clock strikes the hours and half hours on a bell. The maker of the clock has signed the dial and the movement but sadly both are illegible. A very impressive clock of high quality Height 19"x 13.5"wide. (475 mm x 338mm) Price £SOLD .00
