A very fine quality Rococo mantle clock by one of
Paris best clock makers of the 1820's-30.
The clock has its original gilding which is in very
good condition. The dial and movement are both signed by Raingo,
the movement also has a date stamp of 1827.
The bezel of the clock has very fine engine turning, which sits
perfectly to the soft white enamel dial.
The movement has a silk suspension and an outside countwheel strike
The fretted center of the clock has a blue fabric laid inside similar
to the original base on which the clock stands.
The height of the clock is approximately 9" tall.
A stunning eye catching clock of which I am pleased to own.
