Good coloured deep red tortoiseshell with gilded mounts and lightly engraved brass. The clock is in very good condition with no major damage to the tortoiseshell. It has a white enamel dial with blue Roman numerals outside minute markers and Arabic numbering. It is of eight day duration striking the hours and half on a bell both the dial and the movement signed Charles Taylor and Son Paris..
