This is a very good quality Boulle clock made by Potonie Paris.
Signed on the dial and the movement. It has a good red colour with
fine inlayed brass with light edge engraving. It has a single piece
white enamel dial, with blue Roman numerals and out side minute
markers and Arabic's. The unusual feature of this clock is that
it has a pull alarm. This is not a common function on mantle clocks.
The clock alarm hand is placed at the desired time; there is a small
cord to the side of the clock, which is pulled to wind the alarm.
The alarm then sounds on the main bell situated on the back of the
movement. The movement is of eight-day duration, sounding the hours
