This Red tortoiseshell and lacquered mantle clock has a winged
cherub archer to the top of the clock, there are griffins to the
top front corners and two further birds standing on the central
urn. The clock is eight-day in duration striking the hours and half
on a coiled gong.
The dial is white enamel with decorative half hour markers Roman
numerals outside minute markers and also Arabic numbering to the
five minute segments.
The date of the clock is around 1885-1900.
