A good gorge cased repeating carriage clock by Soldano. Original
eight day lever platform, signed by the eminent maker.
They won exhibition medals for carriage clocks in 1855 and 1878.
Dent's of Cockspur St London were regular customers of Soldano's
clocks.
This particular clock has a white enamel dial which is in excellent
condition, with Roman numerals, out side minute marker and Arabic
numbering for the five minute markers.
The Gorge cased is polished and lacquered using our long lasting
protective finish to give years of tarnish free looks.
