A Good mahogany Longcase by Lee
of Cheltenham, recorded to have worked around 1820. This is a 12"
painted arch dial, having a simple gold floral design to the arch
and the spandrels. The mahogany case has boxwood stringing and is
a warm red brown colour. The hood has flying reeded pillars and
fine swan neck pediments.
The movement is eight day and the clock strikes
the hours on a bell.
The overall height of the clock is 86"
