A Good mahogany Longcase by Frederick Jones
of Bristol recorded to have worked around The mid 1800's. This is
a 12" painted arch dial, having a simple country scenes painted
to the arch and the spandrels. The mahogany case has boxwood and
ebony stringing it is a warm red brown colour, with a flame
mahogany base and door. The hood has flying pillars and swan
neck pediments.
The movement is eight day and the clock strikes
the hours on a bell.
The overall height of the clock is 80"
