A good oak Longcase
by Bradford of Tiverton recorded to have worked around the
1800's. This is a 11" painted dial, having a simple floral
images painted to the spandrels. The oak case has mahogany
cross banding and is a sleepy warm brown colour. The hood has swan
neck pediments which is also cross banded with mahogany.
The movement is 30hr
and the clock strikes the hours on a bell.
The overall height of
the clock is 81"
