The clock signed by Irvine Hindle Halifax Yorkshire.
Housed behind the brass dial with chapter ring and spandrels. An
eight day duration movement with full maintaining power and dead
beat escapement, the movement is outstanding quality.The plates
of the movement have been snailed on the inside.
The case is full numbered showing the quality of craftsmanship.
The clock made in the 18thc style has barely twist columns to the
square oak hood with fretted sides. The trunk has a simple glazed
door exposing the large striking weight and going weight. The base
has a leaf design applied to the center. The whole clock is supported
by four elaborately carved feet.
The clock stands only 67" tall
