This is a superb Moon-Phase West Country longcase, by Harding of
Timsbury. Mid 19thc, the proportions and quality are hard to beat
for this type of clock. The casework is to the highest standard
and is in excellent condition, with good quality inlays and veneers.
The movement is eight day in duration and strikes the hours on a
bell. It has a subsidiary seconds and calendar work above the six
o'clock position with the added advantage of having the phase's
of the moon to the arch.
The overall height of the clock is 90" to the top of the finial.
