This is a delightful Longcase clock made of mahogany with inlayed
boxwood and rosewood to the hood.
The clock dates to circa 1800-1820 although not signed it is of
very good quality with some influences from the Guernsey region,
which is where I purchased the clock from.
The dial has been conserved and retains all of its original back
ground detail. The numerals have been restored back to their former
glory.
The movement has been through our workshop and is now fully restored
and in A1 working order. It is eight day in duration, striking the
hours on a bell with the automata phases of the moon to the arch.
Height: 6' 11" tall.
The price of the clock is SOLD UK pounds,
including UK delivery setting up and guarantee this will also include
a full insurance valuation.
