Arthur Herbert Buckland. Exhibited, R A. RBA.
RI. ROI. Born 1870 Studied at the royal college of art
and St Juliens Paris. A very sort after artist, his
large portraits can be seen on the market for many tens
of thousands of pounds. This portrait shows his ability
to capture an image with little effort. This portrait
is reputedly the artist's grandmother, but I have yet
to have this confirmed. Size 12" x 14" approximately,
not including the frame.
