This is an extremely good example of the artist work.
Watercolours are regarded as his better works, as he
took more time over them which is clearly reflected
in this piece.
The image is of the River Exe in Devon, with a small
sail boat in the distance with a rowing boat near the
shore.
The painting has very good colour and is far better
than the photo suggests.
